The Pennsylvania Innocence Project, a local law-enforcement group, tracked Cosby down behind bars and gave him a chance to speak to the press. Though he said he didn’t want to discuss the case, he did want to take a few words out of his mouth regarding the press:
…The reality of the situation is that journalism is based on propaganda, and it is impossible for them to be objective …
Don’t take anything that I say out of context.
Don’t believe what I say. Believe your own eyes.
So, basically, Cosby thinks the press don’t believe him, and so it’s best for you to just ignore him. Ouch.
She also addressed the release of the tapes in which her sister testified to having witnessed Cosby actually raping her:
So, then they just play in the background, and then there’s another testimony about my sister and she was very uncomfortable [with it] as well. I will defend you, but that’s how they get you. It’s their game.
Andrea Constand, one of the five women who had an assault claim against Cosby thrown out, is furious. According to TMZ:
After more than 50 years of laughing off her character assassination as simply “Enniscare” and “looking the other way” — another tearful victim of Bill Cosby, Andrea Constand, is not laughing anymore … not at Cosby himself or his reckless comeback strategy, nor the court system that just bought his freedom and his life of luxury from us.
Cosby testified that the three counts of aggravated indecent assault against him involved only “petting” — not intercourse — and therefore he could not be guilty. She says:
Yes, she is right about everyone being unfair to her. This was about evil, not innocence.
