Tori Spelling’s husband Dean McDermott was still going strong and having an affair with another woman (who he’s still seen and allegedly ‘fornicating’ with) despite her knowing about it for a year and leaving him for the fact and giving him their seven-year-old son to raise on his own.
Of course, this led to them ending their 11-year-marriage and McDermott making Tori Spelling, a forty-two-year-old mother of five, homeless.
In April, Spelling revealed that she “knew” about McDermott’s fling with Emily Goodhand – a Canadian physiotherapist who he met in a coffee shop – and opened up about how she had to sell everything she owned to stay afloat.
No wonder Spelling has come under so much scrutiny after being rude and insensitive to the elderly.
E! Online reports that ‘many’ have questioned Spelling’s recent appearance on business show Shark Tank, in which she revealed she was having a financial crisis and therefore had been “forced” to sell bottles of her wine and give them to poor women of high moral standards to ‘stand on their own two feet’.
The statement is now drawing negative feedback to Spelling on Twitter where one user remarked: “Money saved, not spent on cocaine with cheating husbands… Wtf Tori? There’s no cure for moral failure.”
Another, who called Spelling’s selling of the bottles ‘despicable’, said: “You are greedy, self-promoting trash. What is worse? The videos you make or the selling of your product?”
Despite seeing a decline in their money troubles as they work out the kinks with their financial matters, Spelling and McDermott will undoubtedly be divided when it comes to supporting their seven-year-old Liam’s love life – as their tenth wedding anniversary is approaching.
loved the piece on Tori Spelling being forced to sell her $2k worth of wine to buy a gift for Liam, but it’s crsht that you’re even trying. i mean….with the money you make, you can buy a couple of kids a cooler!

Wow! Most women (and men) who are friends with people who cheat on their partners would be in the position Tori is in. But the fact that the men cheat causes the women to cheat just because of the hurt and betrayal. Grown adults. https://t.co/UztpujR3oO — Ana Lucia Temporado (@Mindblownbkch) September 25, 2018
It’s not clear whether Spelling planned to sell the wines on her own before the episode aired, so the decision to go public with the news of their financial state was certainly careless – and it could be bad timing to cash in on that piece of the ‘A list’ before the news of their relationship demise becomes national news.
Us Magazine obtained an email that reads: “You were given the copies of the bottles in their original packaging…I would love for you to swap out the ones that are mine… This allows me to give more money directly to the women.”
Spelling is well known for proudly being a social media ‘role model’ on such topics as body image, but it’s not the best idea to go on Channel 4’s Shark Tank and assert her ability to buy luxury duds and brag about her rich husband’s escapades. But, perhaps Tori does not expect the publicly shaming to go away.
After all, the birthday of the woman McDermott has cheated on Spelling with is approaching and she is going to need a lot of partying to top up the $2k that is now squirreled away.
