Former Delaware senator Ted Kennedy said Tuesday that Vice President Joe Biden has a “mission from God” to “suppress” Donald Trump and to serve as a “surrogate for” liberal icon Robert Kennedy Jr. “I don’t know why that man keeps on striving to meet a professional agenda — whether it be as a great leader in politics, in the movie business or as a movie producer,” said Ted Kennedy, talking to FOX News’ Judge Andrew Napolitano on “Justice with Judge Andrew Napolitano.” “He’s a martyr, by definition,” Kennedy continued.
President Trump ripped Biden Monday night for adding to his “terrible record on women,” for his endorsement of Hillary Clinton’s attack on an Iraq war whistleblower, and for defending Bill Clinton.
According to a Time magazine story, which ran in January, Biden had this to say about former first lady Michelle Obama: “My wife was told by her husband, this is her job. I would not do the same thing.”
“[Michelle Obama] made a very bad comment about mothers who, after raising a family, had to go back to work,” Biden told CNN last month. “I didn’t agree with her… [and] it’s not the right thing to say.”
Kennedy, at one point in the interview, echoed the sentiment that Biden’s political career hasn’t amounted to much, calling him an “interesting, good guy” and a “dedicated public servant.”
