Pursuit of technology that ensures its survival is what drives many ecosystems. Far From Earth: Autobots and Decepticons Over the Wall is a fun and entertaining game that lets players rescue Optimus Prime and King Buck by battling their foes, Hunters, in the wilderness. It comes complete with a story mode and match-three arcade style strategy gameplay.
The game revolves around a society called Junuz, whose citizens have no natural resources. As hunters, people are able to construct robots that can help their society fight the Hunters. The only problem is, Junuz’s gadgets are controlled by an alien government called the Light. The Hunters hunt Junuz’s robots for their part in helping Junuz restore its power and become independent of the Light. Players must attempt to rescue Optimus Prime and King Buck from the Hunters. Along the way, they’ll learn valuable stuff like the benefits of hive-mind hivecraft engineering that only l-bots can learn.
The mechanics of this game are great for two-player co-op. For busy families, it’s an exciting game to play. There are many challenges to overcome, but they’re balanced by easy and varied levels of difficulty. The level of customisation of characters is interesting too. Gamers can create their own tools and start over with a blank slate. Players also benefit from a competitive mentality, which creates some of the best playability in the game.
