Ryarsh is a picturesque Kent village nestling amongst the North Downs. It is within easy reach of many very historic places. Local to West Malling, The Ryarsh Village Community is the way village life should be. Lanes weave between farm fields and country cottages passing through extroadanry Kent countryside.

Set in the heart of the village, is  The Duke of Wellington Public House, A childrens play area, Ryarsh Village School and the Community Village Hall which has been host to many a good village shin dig.

I listen to children playing in the recreation ground. Laughing out loud as they run and jump around, chasing each other on and around the apparatus,  just generally being children and I think to myself 'They just don't realise how lucky they are to be living in a place like Ryarsh' But I believe they will when they're older.

The Quaint Village of Ryarsh is situated on the outskirts of West Malling. Today, Ryarsh village remains mostly agricultural, with residential use too. The village houses approximately 1,000 residents. Ryarsh lies just off the A20 and has excellent links onto the M20 and M25 motorway networks. West Malling to France andWest Malling to London are  easy travelling, either by road, or rail using the West Malling mainline station for London, or to connect in Ashford for high-speed trains to the Continent.

The Parish of Ryarsh was formed around the small community and used to be centred around the Ryarsh Parish Church. Today Ryarsh Church and Ryarsh Village have separated however the same area is now represented as a local authority by the Ryarsh Parish Council and the Church of England by the Parochial Church Council.
